In a remarkable gesture of philanthropy, leading textile giant Trident’s Chairman Emeritus Rajinder Gupta has donated a staggering Rs. 21 crore to the SV Pranadana Trust of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). The donation was made on Sunday, with Gupta along with his family members personally handing over the cheque of donation to to TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdhary at the latter's camp office in Tirumala.

The development was posted by TTD on its social media handles which said, “Rs. 21 Cr whooping donation made to SV PRANADANA TRUST, Sri Rajinder Gupta of Trident Group, Punjab has donated Rs 21 crore towards SV Pranadana Trust of TTD on Sunday. The donor has handed over the cheque for the same amount to the TTD Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdhary at the latter's camp office in Tirumala”

This generous contribution will significantly bolster the efforts of the SV Pranadana Trust, which is dedicated to providing free medical care to underprivileged patients, especially those suffering from life-threatening ailments.
