Despite the Congress party's official stand of not to attend "Pran Pratishtha" of Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya, two of its prominent leaders from Himachal Pradesh cabinet minister Vikramaditya Singh (who also is the son of longest serving CM of HP late Virbhadra Singh) & ex-cabinet minister Sudhir Sharma (who is amongst the most popular young generation congress leaders in the state) attended the program on Monday. Gesture of both these Congressmen is winning hearts and as well as earning them criticism from certain sections particularly at a time when their supreme leader Rahul Gandhi was allegedly stopped from entering a shrine in Assam.

Interestingly both Singh and Sharma posted the pictures of themselves at Shri Ram Temple along with special messages on their social media accounts. "अयोध्या राम मंदिर के प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का निमंत्रण हिमाचल के छः बार के मुख्यमंत्री स्व राजा वीरभद्र सिंह के देव समाज और हिंदू धर्म के प्रति पूर्ण निष्ठा और अटूट विश्वास को देखते हुए उनके परिवार को दिया गया था जिसका सम्मान और निर्वहन करना हमारे लिए पुत्र धर्म था। राम सबके हैं , राम सबमें हैं। जय श्री राम 🚩🚩🚩" posted Vikramaditya Singh on his Facebook page.
