Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan, organized a two-day workshop on ‘Money Management and Career Awareness’ for the students of the Dept of Management. The resource persons were Ms Anita Saini, Securities Market Trainer, SEBI and Mr Nagesh Kumar, Company Secretary. On the first day, Ms Anita Saini apprised the audience about building portfolio, diversification, budgeting, planning, savings, investments, primary market, Rule of 72, Public Provident Fund, investment schemes etc. The next day’s session was attended by Mr Nagesh Kumar. He spoke about investing in the secondary market, Mutual Funds, Stock Market Insurance plans, investment do’s and don’ts, career opportunities, certifications required to apply in various financial sectors and available grievance cells in case of redressal of frauds. The session was supported by many examples and expert experiences. The students were immensely benefitted by the interactive and practical approach of the speakers. The workshops were also attended by Mr Rahul Jain, Dy Director-Schools and Colleges, Dr Gagandeep Kaur Dhanju, Officiating Incharge and HoD Mgt Dept and members of the teaching faculty.
