ICAR-CIPHET in collaboration with GT Bharat , HDFC Bank Parivartan organised a bakery training program at Village Banmajra Morinda. The program which was held on April 26th , primarily focussed on Bakery based Agri-business opportunities in production catchment and it involved 60 women beneficiaries from the Tehsil Morinda Roopnagar District.

The training was conducted by ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana under Agri-business Incubation project funded by IPTM, ICAR and facilitated by by Grant Thornton Bharat, HDFC Parivartan Project. The event commenced with the registration of female beneficiaries, followed by CIPHET's significant contributions to post-harvest activities and its various services. Dr. Ranjeet Singh, Head Transfer of Technology Division (ICAR-CIPHET) delivered lecture on role of agribusiness incubation to augment the income of rural women by honing their skills and resorting conducive environment to initiate entrepreneurship specially in the area of bakery based rural enterprise.

During this training program Grant Thornton Bharat team Manager Manpreet Singh , Yogesh Sharma,Navjot Singh Sarao, Santokh Singh, Jaspreet kaur and Nikhil Thakur were also present.
