The 13th MACHAUTO Expo concluded on Monday with an impressive footfall of over 50,000 visitors at the Ludhiana Exhibition Centre, Sahnewal, marking the end of its four-day run on Monday.Organized by Udan Media & Communication Pvt. Ltd, powered by the Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), in association with the Association of Ludhiana Machine Tool Industries (ALMTI) and the Auto Parts Manufacturers Association (APMA), the event showcased machinery tools and automation technology.
The expo received distinguished guests, including MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi from the Ludhiana West constituency and MLA Tarunpreet Singh Sond from Khanna constituency, who commended the organizers for their excellent arrangements and commitment to providing a platform for local manufacturers and traders to thrive. MLA Gogi reiterated the AAP government's dedication to fostering industry in Punjab, pledging support to streamline processes and facilitate organizers in availing necessary facilities.MP Ravneet Singh Bittu also graced the event, appreciating the organizers' efforts and expressing his support for establishing a permanent exhibition center at the location to promote such events further.
Dalbir Singh, Chairman of PSIEC, praised the diverse array of tools and technology showcased at the expo, underscoring its significance as a valuable platform for visitors to explore.Sunil Taneja, Chairman of the Regional Council (North) Indian Machine Tools Manufacturing Association, lauded the quality of exhibitors and visitors, expressing his willingness to participate in the expo next year. Tarlochan Singh, President of ALMTI, expressed satisfaction with the successful exhibition and noted the quality leads generated by exhibitors.
Sandeep Rishi, MC Commissioner Ludhiana, along with other notable figures such as Jasdev Singh Sekhon, Zonal Commissioner MC Ludhiana, Former MLA Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, and former chairman of Punjab Medium Industry Development Board Amarjit Singh Tikka, graced the event with their presence.Additionally, Park Hee Soo from Korea made a special visit to the exhibition for integration purposes, highlighting its international appeal.
The final day of the event saw participation from various educational institutions, including LPU, GGI, RIMT, and Chandigarh Group of Colleges.Upkar Singh Ahuja, President of CICU, emphasized the expo's role as a platform for youngsters to explore new technology and expand their knowledge beyond the buy-sell platform.

Gurpargat Singh Kahlon, President of APMA; Jang Bahadur Singh, General Secretary of ALMTI; Gurmail Singh, Vice President of ALMTI, and members of the Steering Committee of CICU, including Honey Sethi, General Secretary, and J.S. Bhogal, Organizing Secretary, among others, were also present to witness the event's success.
