A delegation of Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) visited office of Trade Representation of Russia in India, New Delhi. Wherein the discussion regarding supporting and promoting the trade ties between Punjab exporters and Russians were discussed.

During the meeting CICU President Upkar Singh Ahuja gave a presentation of CICU's working and discussed the increasing trade ties of both the countries. Ahuja also discussed the payment settlement arrangements between Russia and India.

Evgeny Burman and NS Zlata Anthusheva from economic division of office of Trade Representation of Russia in India assured of their cooperation and proposed B2B meets with Russian companies and trade associations. They also discussed upcoming associations for India in fields of trade, education and tourism. Swarn Dhiman, Director-CICU extended the proposal for a direct interaction session between Russian trade representation and Ludhiana industry.

Upkar Singh Ahuja said, following the meeting many new initiatives will be taken by the CICU to guide the industry about trading with Russia. According to Ahuja meeting proved to be very fruitful.
